Every year my family goes up to some family property my multiple-great grandfather homesteaded. We camp up there for a few days. My dad brings up his tractor to work on the road and general area. So of course I had to take some pictures of it to paint when I got back.
I saw this great old International crawler a while back. I loved the shape of it. I was excited when this painting made it into the 2015 Spring Salon at the Springville Art Museum. I'm a noobie at this "fine art" thing, so making it in was a real ego boost.
Thought I would catch up and post some of the paintings I've finished lately. I'm going to really try to keep this blog up to date. This painting was recently in the Bountiful Davis Art Center's 2015 Statewide Competition.
